BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 4 reales, (1649) (Z or O), with crowned-script-a (very rare) countermark on cross. KM-17a; Cal-Type 279. 13.50 grams. Broad flan with no corrosion, edge-split, good full shield (with denomination 4 to right) and bottom half of crown, full but slightly off-center cross with bold countermark (nearly full) at bottom-right, contrastingly toned. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
